CALLING ALL Provincetown ARTISTS

If you are an artist working in Provincetown, please consider participating in the OPEN STUDIOS during the FALL ARTS FESTIVAL 2000 September 22 - October 1.

Win 2 Provincetown-Boston Roundtrip tickets via Cape Air.

All participating artists will be included in the drawing.

This is a special opportunity for art patrons to visit your studio and talk with you about your work.  We are advertising this event in Cape and New England press and including it on our web site at www.FAWC.org. The scheduled times are Saturday and Sunday, September 23 & 24 and September 30 & October 1 from 12N to 4PM.

Contact Rena Lindstrom at fallartsfestival@hotmail.com or 487-7161 for information and to register.  We will create a preview book, which will be available at the Chamber of Commerce for a couple of weeks before the event so that patrons can plan their tour according to their interests.  All artists who participate will provide material for this book: a brief bio, artist's statement, and 2 color Xerox or photo/copy of work (as many as you want on two 8 ^1/2 x 11 pages) by Friday, September 1 at 5 PM.

Registration forms are being mailed to town artists July 31.  If you don't get one, be sure to call.  We may not have your address. Once registered via mail, phone or email, artists will deliver their material to the Chamber of Commerce office marked with their name and "Open Studios" on the envelope.  Maps with participating studios marked will be available there and in galleries and museums, etc., all over town. If you're limiting your open hours to less than the schedule, that information should be prominently included. 

We don't have new flags this year, but we hope artists will create their own flags to hang outside their studios. Artists decorate the town!
